Tokyo Software Editor
Software for building audio algorithms in real-time
Task
Tokyo was a piece of software I created together with Max Grønlund. It allowed real-time building of audio algorithms by placing audio processing blocks and connecting them using virtual wires.
Tokyo also allowed you to build user interfaces by placing buttons, dials and other elements, and could be called a visual programming language.
The software was groundbreaking for it's time, and was later used to build the Studio9000 series of commercial software synthesizers.
